After an exciting week in Lancaster, Pennsylvania where In Gee Chun became the first player to win her U.S. Women’s Open debut since 2005 we saw some interesting moves in the Women’s Rolex Rankings. Chun, who won the third major of the season, made her way up to the top ten of the ranking. While So Yeon Ryu who managed finished tied for 5th jumped two spots and is now world’s No.6.
Amy Yang had chance to win the U.S. Women’s Open but bogeyed the 18th and fell a stroke short. Despite not winning and finishing 2nd Yang climbed six spots on the ranking and is now part of the world’s top ten.
Another player who had a great week was Brooke M. Henderson, who finished in 5th place and managed to climb 13 spots in the ranking. She is now world’s No. 32.
