Sandra Gal is one of the most known players on the LPGA Tour not only for her talent on the course but also for being a fan-friendly golfer. Gal is one of the players on tour that embraces the Little Girls, Big Dreams program and every tournament takes a girl inside the ropes to walk 18 holes with her.
Sandra first played golf at the age of 5 but did not start to practice seriously until she was 14-years-old. In 2007 she won the Ladies European Amateur ranking and later that fall played in the LPGA Q-School. She turned professional in 2008 after receiving an LPGA full exempt card.
Sandra has a very close relationship with her father, Jan Gal, who is always looking after the maintenance of her swing and helps her coordinate off-course activities.
