Rolex Rankings moves of the week

The third stop of the LPGA Asian Swing finished with emotions and excitement to the fullest. Carlota Ciganda edged Alison Lee during the first playoff hole to take the 2016 LPGA KEB-Hana Bank Championship title. This was Ciganda’s first LPGA victory, with which she became the eighth Rolex First-Time Winner so far this season.

With her victory the Spaniard made the most significant leap of the week in the rankings and placed herself as No. 23 in the world. Carlota now joins Anna Nordqvist and Suzann Pettersen as the only three European players in the Top 25. The American, Alison Lee, jumped 15 spots on the Rolex Rankings and is now sits as No.29.

Other significant moves this week on the rankings where Min Sun Kim, who finished tied for third in South Korea, and Karine Icher.
